Hi Gabe, curious if any reports their dog has symptoms and is getting medicated. Would we be notified that our dogs may have been exposed that week? Or would notification just stay general throughout the season. Always appreciate you keeping our kids safe and sound!
We have had a few cases sporadically reported from late Summer up until a couple weeks ago; but luckily nothing heavy or consistent that we’d be concerned about an outbreak. We always see a rise in cases from late August-October each year. Its a tough thing to track as many will remain asymptomatic and those that do develop symptoms can be from a couple days to a couple weeks after they’ve visited Pack. Sometimes coughs can be mis diagnosed as allergies and vice versa. We will always keep posts to a more general broadcast this time of year as the goal is to educate pup parents regarding CIRD and what it is which will help prevent and limit the spread of communicable disease.
